Drawing on classical orchestration, hybrid electronic design, and hints of Korean traditional influence, Yuri shapes scores that are emotionally grounded yet expansive, designed to turn stories into deeply felt experiences.
Her work spans film, television, theater, and game, including the acclaimed feature Fairy and League of Legends Champions Korea. She also worked closely with composer Rob Simonsen on major studio productions including Elio, Deadpool & Wolverine, and It Ends With Us. She is the recipient of the 2025 ASCAP Foundation Michelle and Dean Kay Award. She was selected as a 2025 cohort member of the VIFF Composer Filmmaker Accelerator.
